Winter Warmer Coat Drive 2025
October 07, 2025
What is the Winter Warmer Coat Drive?
Throughout October and November, we will be collecting good condition ‘pre-loved’ or brand-new winter coats so that we can support the families referred to our Food Bank, ahead of the winter season.
What are we collecting?
Men’s, women’s and children’s winter coats. All sizes from infant to adult XXL are needed. Parkas, puffer jackets, hooded coats, faux furs… we’ll take them all!
What requirements do we have?
We ask that the donated coats are in good condition. Please wash items before donating, and do not donate any items that have tears, stains or holes. A big part of our ethos is to extend dignity to our guests; if you wouldn’t wear it, we wouldn’t pass it on to one of our guests.
How can I donate?
You can drop off coats to the main Sufra building at 160 Pitfield Way, NW10 0PW between Monday – Friday, 10.00 – 17.00 or to the Pakistan Community Centre, Marley Walk, NW2 4PU between Monday - Friday, 10:00 - 15:00.
If you are unable to donate within these hours, please leave them in our yellow collection bins outside of the Sufra building.
If you have collected lots of coats and you need help getting it to us – give us a call on 0203 441 1335 and we may be able to help!
Please get your coats to us by Friday 29th November.
Who are we distributing the coats to?
Local Brent residents struggling to make ends meet
Young families without enough money to buy new winter coats for their children
Refugees and Asylum seekers in Brent, who are facing their first winter in the UK
While Sufra are well known for providing food aid, we recognise that poverty affects all aspects of our guests lives. Over half of London working families use food banks, and do not have sufficient wages to keep their families warm over the winter.
Together, we can keep hundreds of people in our community warm through the winter.
