"We Need A New Van, Please Help Us If You Can!"

What a huge success! We would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone that supported us on the ONE Tonne Walk – especially all the young people and children who made it so special. It was fun and a little bit wild (and quite wet), but it was soo Sufra!

With our placards, kitchen utensils and drums made from pots and pans, we marched down Bridge Rd and on to Engineers Way before we got caught in a

sudden downpour in front of Brent Civic Centre. But we didn’t care, we continued making lots of noise and chanting “WE NEED A NEW VAN, PLEASE HELP US IF YOU CAN”. Until, of course, the Mayor of Brent came out and let us in…
