Covid-19 Winter Appeal
November 19, 2020
As the cold weather settles here in the UK, many people across the country will be facing a winter like no other. The pandemic has heaped further pressure on people already living in crisis and is leaving the most vulnerable in unprecedented times this winter.
With redundancies surging to a record high, families are increasingly unable to cover the basic costs of living such as food, heating and other essentials and for those left on the streets, winter only brings further threats to their survival.
As we deal with increased demand and the seasonal influx of guests that require our support - the need for food and donations has never been so critical. The number of food parcels and hot meals we expect to provide this winter has doubled compared to the same period last year.
But we cannot do this alone – we are more effective together, as a community. So please join us and support our Covid-19 Winter Appeal. A simple act of giving today can provide a lifeline to families experiencing hunger, isolation and homelessness this winter, please donate today.
