Celebrating Our Volunteers: Sufra's Special Social Night
November 01, 2024
On September 25th, Sufra hosted a heart-warming volunteer social to honour the incredible dedication of our volunteers and to mark the conclusion of the Community Wellbeing Project at Bridge Park Leisure Centre. It was a night filled with camaraderie, delicious food, and joyful celebration.
Our talented lead community chef, Jas, prepared a mouth-watering dinner. On the menu, ragu pasta and aubergine parmigiana, accompanied by cheesy breadsticks that delighted everyone's taste buds. The evening was made even more special by the efforts of numerous Sufra team members who came together to cater for the event, ensuring every detail was perfect.
The festivities kicked off with Siham's welcome drinks, setting a colourful and inviting tone for the night. Throughout the evening, volunteers had the opportunity to custom their Sufra tote bags with the help of Anaam and Amina, experts in the art of textile printing. As the night progressed, a festive energy spread, culminating in a vibrant dancefloor where some of us let loose and celebrated to the sound of music.
Thank you to all our volunteers for your hard work and commitment. This event was a beautiful reminder of the impact we can make together, we hope everyone had a fantastic time.
