The Big Hug!

This year, we’ve partnered with our lovely friends at Penny Appeal to host the Big Orange Hug on Friday 20 December 2019, from 2pm to 7pm at Sufra NW London.
We still haven’t figured out why it’s ‘Orange’, but we are sure this will be an amazing event to pamper and support homeless and vulnerable people this winter.
Taking the form of a traditional Christmas Market, right here on St. Raphael’s Estate, there will be hot food, entertainment (a singer and a comedian), a range of pampering services, doctors, dentists, opticians as well as local organisations who help with money management, benefits, private renting issues and mental wellbeing. We will also give out winter packs, clothes and food parcels to those in need.
If you work with vulnerable people and would like to bring your service users along, please get in touch or just turn up on the day – it’s all FREE!
Please note that we will not be running our usual Community Kitchen in the evening. Come along a little earlier to enjoy some delicious food instead.
