SIGN UP HERE:๐ Want to do some good on Christmas day?
On 25th December, we are excited to welcome our Sufra guests for a festive treat.
Embodying the true meaning of โSufraโ, sharing a meal together is such an important part of building community, and coming together at Christmas is of course a special time for so many.
Our Christmas dinner will serve 200 guests a feast of Christmas dinner with all of the trimmings. The day will also include festive entertainment, and of course a guest appearance from Santa Claus. This festive extravaganza will be hosted at Ark Elvin Academy, Cecil Avenue, HA9 7DU.
The only problem is, on Christmas Day there is no public transport. While some of our guests will be close enough to walk, and some will drive, this will not the case for many.
๐This year, we are particularly in need of volunteer drivers.
To ensure that everyone in need of a meal on Christmas can make it to our service, we will need to collect our guests, and drop them home after the meal! For volunteers that can, you are welcome to stay for the meal to mingle amongst guests too.
- You are available on 25th December
- You have a car, willing to visit 3 households (maximum) in Brent, when given the addresses a few days in advance. We will aim for you to pick and drop guests that live near you/near each other.
- You are available to pick up guests around 11.30/12.00, and collect them at 15.00. We also want some volunteers to stay, to mingle amongst guests and enjoy a dinner too. You can indicate on the form below if you can do this.
