Kids activities at CWP
April 09, 2024
Here at our Community Wellbeing Project the children have been enjoying a varied programme of free activities to keep them busy during the school holidays.
Two pirates from the Flying Seagulls Project, complete with striped socks, quirky accents and pirate hats set sail on an epic adventure across the Seven Seas. Bringing music, play, circus skills and mayhem to Bridge Park, the pirates entertained the children for almost two hours - with a pantomime style play thrown in too for good measure.
We have also enjoyed the company of Cherrelle who joined us for an hour teaching a dance workshop to more than 40 kids. Cherrelle was talented, thoroughly engaging and brought out the best in both the boys and girls, aged from 2 – 12.
Alongside these energetic and loud activities, we had something a little calmer in the form of arts and crafts put on by the talented team from Brent libraries. They brought with them everything needed to create wonderfully colourful and creative art. The children showed off their creations and were able to take some free books home too.
We’ve had a lot of fun and look forward to seeing you and your families at Bridge Park Leisure Centre sometime soon!
