Sufra's Christmas Feast 2019

As part of the support we provide to vulnerable and socially isolated families this Christmas, Sufra will once again be hosting a huge Christmas Lunch on Christmas Day for up to 150 people. Places filled up in record time and we have a worryingly long waiting list (we’ll have to go even bigger next year!)

A team of around 50 volunteers will not only be cooking up a Christmas feast with all the trimmings, they’ll be picking up and taking home everyone that needs a lift (public transport won’t be working). We still need 5 more volunteer drivers. Click here to sign up.

Santa will be in attendance delivering presents to everyone, and there will be some beautiful carol singing – including carols sung in Arabic!

A huge thank you to Saima and her team from Hampstead Kitchen for providing (and cooking) all the organic, free range chicken we will be serving on the day – you guys are phenomenal!

This is what Christmas is really all about. If you would like to help share the cost of this beautiful example of how a community can support those most in need, please click here.
