Community Garden

Our beautiful Community Garden emerged from a local campaign run by residents, to develop a food growing project for the community. With the help of hundreds of volunteers, St. Raphael’s Edible Garden now has a wildlife pond, a fruit tree orchard, compost bins, a yurt, a pizza oven, plenty of raised beds and a stunning pergola.

The garden is managed and run by Sufra NW London, but it is here to be used by and benefit the community. It is a therapeutic space and has a wealth of edible produce; Fruits, vegetables and varieties of herbs. This is a communal space to teach & learn new skills from each other, build confidence in food growing practices and support health and wellbeing. It gives residents an opportunity to come together, engage their senses, and have fun!

The garden offers a welcoming natural sanctuary amongst a urban environment and has a wealth of seasonal, organic, edible produce being grown all year-round which gets harvested on a weekly basis and put out at a garden market every Saturday for the community to take home on a ‘Pay-as-you-wish’ (Donation) basis.

Our Community Garden is a great place to surround yourself with nature and we run regular activities for the whole community to get involved with.

Opening Times

The garden is open during the following times:

Monday: CLOSED

Tuesday: 10am – 4pm (Open to all for leisure and enjoyment)

Wednesday: 10am – 4pm (Volunteering day & open to all for leisure and enjoyment)

Thursday: CLOSED

Friday: CLOSED

Saturday: 10am – 1pm (Volunteering day & open to all for leisure and enjoyment)

Sunday: CLOSED

Garden Market

Our garden market from St. Raphael’s Edible Garden is opening from SATURDAY 10TH MAY!

You can buy organic, freshly-harvested fruits & vegetables on a pay-as-you-feel basis - whether that’s 10p or £10. All proceeds go to Sufra.

Nature Kids Club

KIDS NATURE CLUB for parents and toddlers is open every Tuesday,

Children will connect with nature, engage in hands-on activities, develop new skills and explore the world around them. It’s a wonderful opportunity for little ones to experience the outdoors, connect with other families, and develop a deeper appreciation for nature.

Sessions will be running every tuesday during term-time and will operate on a drop-in basis. Parents will stay to supervise their children. You don’t need to sign up to join in, but for more information please register your interest here:
