Fulfil Your Dream
Dear friends,
If you’ve always wanted to be part of Sufra NW London’s amazing team, now is your chance.
We’re currently recruiting for some very special roles:
Operations Manager (£25,000-£28,000)
This is your opportunity to join the Senior Management Team of Sufra NW London and lead on all aspects of current and future service delivery. You will provide line-management for key project staff and maintain a high-quality service through effective planning, policy implementation and regular evaluation.
The successful candidate will demonstrate at least 3 years’ experience in managing multiple services in a fast-paced environment, with significant experience in bid-writing and grant fundraising. Applicants should have an outcome-orientated approach, the ability to find creative solutions to emerging challenges and an informal demeanour that fits with the organisational ethos and values.
To apply for this role, please submit a CV, Covering Letter (no more than 2 sides) and Equal Opportunities Form (available here) by email to admin@sufra-nwlondon.org.uk.
Deadline for Applications: Friday 27 April 2018 at 5:00pm

Trustee (Voluntary)
As the charity marks its fifth anniversary and consolidates its current activities, we are looking for additional Trustees to join the Board. In particular, we are looking for applicants who can demonstrate a local connection to North-West London (working, living or closely associated with the area), and who possess skills in at least one of the following areas:
- Voluntary Sector Experience
- Fundraising (especially grant-fundraising)
- Welfare & Advocacy Services (especially homelessness)
Deadline for Applications: Friday 11 May 2018 at 5:00pm

Food Bank Supervisor (Voluntary)
With demand rocketing at the Food Bank, we are looking for experienced volunteers to supervise Food Bank sessions on Wednesdays and Sundays between 11:30am and 3:30pm.
As Food Bank Supervisor, you will need to be confident in leading the team and supporting volunteers to provide an effective and compassionate service to the most vulnerable in the community. You will have a good grasp of key policies and procedures (training provided) and have the tact and diplomacy to mediate in sticky situations.
We kindly request either a weekly commitment for 6 months OR a fortnightly commitment for 12 months. You should also be able to attend volunteer meetings and training days on Saturdays every 2 months.
Deadline for Applications: Friday 25 May 2018 at 5:00pm
To apply for this role, please submit a CV, Covering Letter (no more than 200 words) and Equal Opportunities Form (available here) by email to admin@sufra-nwlondon.org.uk.
Community Kitchen Front-of-House Supervisor (Voluntary)
We’ve all experienced lousy service at a restaurant and just because our Community Kitchen guests are usually the homeless, disabled and infirm – as well as low-income families – we don’t expect to provide them with anything less than a first-class dining experience.
We’re looking for a friendly host to supervise the Community Kitchen on Friday evenings from 6pm to 9pm.
You must be able to smile and make all our guests feel special. In the midst of a busy service you will allocate seats for incoming guests, coordinate food service and support volunteers to meet the demand of our hungry guests. You will also need to intervene with the occasional difficult guest who doesn’t quite understand that the “no takeaways” rule applies to everyone.
Don’t miss out.
Yours,
Mohammed S Mamdani
