Horticulture Course (Children & Young People)
Every week this summer, Sufra NW London will be running Horticulture Courses for children and young people aged 7 to 16 years on St Raphael’s Edible Garden.
Participants will learn about the science of horticulture by taking part in lots of fun, practical activities in the garden.
During the course, they will:
- take part in a garden scavenger hunt and insect safari
- taste some edible plants
- make their own worm bin
- dissect a flower
- examine lots of bugs and insects
- and lots more!
The course will be accredited by AQA and participants will receive certificates.
Monday 31 July to Friday 4 August (10am to 2pm) – 7-9 years
Monday 7 August to Friday 11 August (10am to 2pm) – 7-9 years
Monday 14 August to Friday 18 August (10am to 2pm) – 10-14 years
Monday 21 August to Friday 25 August (10am to 2pm) – BLOCKED (Brent Young Carers Project)
